Privacy Policy

InquiryCRM is operated by IQ Education LLC ("we", "us"). It is software that banquet halls and event venues ("venues") use to manage the sales inquiries they receive. This policy explains what information the service handles and how we protect it.
Information we handle
Venue users
Name, username, role, and sign-in activity for the venue staff who use InquiryCRM, as entered by the venue's administrator.
Inquiry details entered by a venue
When a guest asks a venue about an event, the venue's staff records the details in InquiryCRM: the guest's name, phone number, email address (if given), event type and date, guest count, and notes about pricing and follow-up. The venue decides what to record. We process this information on the venue's behalf and for the purpose of providing the service to that venue.
How we use it
- To operate InquiryCRM for the venue that entered the information.
- To send emails and text messages that the venue's staff trigger (see below).
- To keep the service secure, diagnose problems, and keep records of activity within the service.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Text messages and phone numbers
A venue team member can choose to text a link to an inquiry's details to a mobile number. The message is sent only when they do so; it is not a marketing or promotional message. Recipients can reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply.
We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers, or text-messaging opt-in data and consent, with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers are shared only with the messaging and cloud providers that deliver the message on our behalf, solely to deliver it.
Who we share information with
We use service providers to run InquiryCRM, such as cloud hosting, email delivery, and text-message delivery. They may process information only to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Retention and deletion
Inquiry information is kept for as long as the venue uses InquiryCRM, or until the venue or the individual asks for it to be deleted. To ask us to delete or correct information about you, contact us at the address below. Because venues control their own records, we may refer your request to the venue involved.
Security
Information is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored in a managed cloud database. Each venue's information is kept separate from other venues'. Access to a venue's data is limited to its signed-in staff and to our administrators who operate the service. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect information.
Children
InquiryCRM is a business tool for venue staff. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The effective date above shows the latest version.
